These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the services (“Services”) provided by HCI Lab LLC under the Good Fast Cheap brand. By purchasing or engaging in any of our service packages, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these terms.

    1. Our Philosophy
We approach every project with good faith, mutual respect, and the intent to create great outcomes. We’re here to do high-quality work and build long-term trust—not to nickel-and-dime or hide behind fine print. We enter into each engagement believing it will go well and that you’ll walk away happy with the experience. These terms simply protect both parties and clarify expectations so we can stay focused on what matters: great results, delivered efficiently.

    2. Overview of Services
Good Fast Cheap offers structured service packages combining design, consulting, and implementation, delivered within a defined time window. These services are time-based, meaning the core value lies in the professional time, attention, and creative expertise allocated to your project—not in a guaranteed deliverable or outcome.

    3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a successful result, you agree to:

Provide all necessary content, assets, and information in a timely manner
Be available for scheduled check-ins, reviews, or clarifications
Understand that delays or missing materials may impact the scope, timeline, or final deliverables

    4. Project Timeline & Scope
Each package includes a defined project window. Our ability to deliver depends on your readiness and responsiveness. If key materials or approvals are not provided, we may:

    Proceed based on available input
    Reschedule at our discretion
Consider the project window complete and deliver what’s possible within the time spent

Additional services or revisions beyond scope may be quoted and billed separately.

    5. Revisions & Flexibility
Each service includes a defined round of refinements. We’re flexible and reasonable, but major shifts in direction or extensive revisions beyond the included round may require additional cost or time. We will always communicate clearly before extra work begins.

    6. Ownership & Portfolio Use
    Upon full payment:

You own the final deliverables created for your business

We retain the rights to underlying tools, templates, and methods used in production

We may showcase the final work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing

If discretion is required, just let us know upfront—we respect that.

    7. Payment Terms & Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable. When you purchase a service, you’re securing our time and focus. We book limited spots and turn away other work to prioritize your project.

We do not offer refunds, credits, or chargebacks, even if:

    You change your mind
You are delayed in providing content
You are dissatisfied with the outcome despite our best professional effort

By purchasing, you agree that you are paying for time and expertise, not a guaranteed deliverable.

    8. Use of AI Tools and External Platforms
As part of our creative and consulting services, we may use artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT and other language models, to assist with strategy, writing, analysis, brainstorming, or implementation.

By working with us, you agree that any materials you submit—including text, business details, or project-related information—may be processed through third-party AI platforms to help us deliver the service more efficiently and creatively.

We do not input sensitive personal information into AI tools unless required for your project and with your consent. If you do not want specific content shared with AI systems, you must notify us in writing before work begins.

    9. Third-Party Platforms
You may be asked to provide access to platforms like Squarespace, your domain registrar, email, or analytics. You agree to provide access securely and on time. We are not responsible for limitations, billing, or failures caused by third-party platforms.

    10. Limitation of Liability
    We are not liable for:

    Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Errors caused by third parties or incorrect client input

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

    11. Copyright & User Submissions
All content on this website is the property of HCI Lab LLC and is protected under U.S. and international copyright law. To report copyright infringement or request removal of infringing material, please contact legal@goodfastcheapdesign.co with the subject line “Copyright Concern.” Include a detailed description of the content in question, your ownership claim, and any relevant URLs.

    13. Payments
We accept payments securely through trusted third-party providers, such as Stripe and PayPal. We do not directly store or process your credit card information. All payment data is handled in accordance with those platforms’ privacy and security policies.

    14. Protected Content & Access
Any password-protected or client-specific deliverables shared through this site are for your use only. You may not share, distribute, or link to private assets (including files, deliverables, or strategy documents) without permission.

    15. Governing Law

    16. Dispute Resolution
Before pursuing a chargeback or public complaint, you agree to contact us directly and allow up to 10 business days to resolve the issue in good faith.

    17. Final Acknowledgment
By submitting payment, you confirm that:

You’ve read and understood these terms
You’re authorized to make this purchase
    This Agreement is legally binding

We look forward to delivering great work and appreciate your trust in Good Fast Cheap.
